The only homework students have over the weekend is to read, read, read!! All students had to take novels home with them. The 2nd Marking Period is officially over.

Extra Credit

Students were given an opportunity for extra credit today in Social Studies. For the past month or so we have been studying the continent of Africa and various countries on this continent. On my blog under the Fun Geography heading is the website the students may use to go back and access the different countries of Africa we studied.

Students were instructed that they must come up with their own type of extra credit involving one these lessons or countries and how much they feel it is worth. They may be as creative as they want and present their ideas to me. This extra credit is due on January 28th.
